Country Visitor

When you live out in the 'country' you're always glad to have visitors!

Any visitors!

Turtle
This was our visitor this week! He didn't feel very much like talking so we didn't catch his name, but he allowed me a couple of pictures to remember him by.

Mr. Twinks enjoyed the visit so much that he didn't let our visitor out of his sight until he was out of the yard!
Little Miss thinks he was in a Race with the Hare and that's why he couldn't stay longer!

Hmmm.

Turtle2
We hope he comes back soon!

When we lived in the south we had to rescue our visiting turtles from our dogs...they thought they were chew toys. No turtle was hurt in any incident! :-)

Hello Holly! Impressive - was it a snapper? Hope you have a marvelous day,

Fun visitor, for something so slow they seem to disappear in due time!
Glad you got some photos!
You'll have to check out my visitor, a peeping Tom. . .

What great photos! I love them, especially the one of your cat watching the turtle.

Mr. Twinks is cute! He must have enjoyed the company! When my cats were young...a few cottontails came into the yard and my cats had no idea of what to do with them!

Visiting turtles this time of year? mmmm, ours usually arrive in Summer when they are laying eggs near the water's edge. Impressive photo of that turtle.
